Examples of Weak AI and Strong AI

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is often classified into two broad categories: Weak AI (Narrow AI) and Strong AI (General AI). These classifications are based on the scope and capabilities of the AI systems.

Weak AI (Narrow AI):

Weak AI refers to AI systems that are designed and trained to perform a specific task or a narrow range of tasks. These systems do not possess general intelligence and cannot operate beyond their predefined functions. Weak AI focuses on optimizing performance in a specific domain without having the ability to understand or operate in other areas outside of that domain.
